Additionally, it aids in obtaining health insurance and locating doctors or dentists, offers dental screenings, sends reminders for immunizations and other vital health information, and refers families to other community resources. Participants receive a WIC Card to purchase nutritious foods at local grocery stores and summer checks for fresh produce at Farmers Markets.
