Medi-Cal provides vital health care services for eligible low-income individuals and families. It covers a variety of services including: -Ambulatory patient services -Emergency care -Hospital stays -Dental services, which encompass preventive and diagnostic care (Denti-Cal) -Maternity and newborn care -Mental health and substance use disorder treatments, including behavioral health support -Prescription medications -Rehabilitative and habilitative services and devices -Laboratory tests -Preventive and wellness services -Management of chronic diseases -Pediatric services (including oral and vision care) -Non-Emergency Medical Transportation available on a case-by-case basis.
