This initiative provides motel vouchers to those who are unsheltered and experiencing homelessness when winter weather conditions drop to 32°F or below when wet, or 20°F or below when dry.

Intake Procedure: An in-person assessment is required, which can be completed by walking in.

Travel/Location: When you call the SWAP hotline, you will be directed to the contact number for case managers in your area. Vouchers for stays from Friday to Sunday are distributed on Thursdays. Clients must obtain a voucher in the county where they are registered. The most effective way to receive a motel voucher is by reaching out to a case manager.
