This service offers urgent psychiatric stabilization for those facing a behavioral health crisis, including: suicidal or homicidal thoughts or actions, ongoing self-destructive behaviors (like substance abuse) that pose a serious and immediate risk to life, limb, or bodily functions; self-harm, whether actual or threatened; aggressive or threatening actions, or significant verbal threats to others' safety; hallucinations that suggest harm to oneself or others; disorganized and agitated behaviors that disrupt daily activities; disorientation or memory issues stemming from an acute mental health condition that jeopardizes one’s safety or that of others; a mental disorder leading to an inability to provide adequate self-care or resulting in severely impaired functioning or life-threatening situations; and severe withdrawal symptoms, such as tremors, confusion, or gastrointestinal disturbances, necessitating 24-hour medical supervision and intervention to prevent potential complications.
