The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally supported initiative aimed at assisting qualifying low-income households with a portion of their winter heating expenses.
Application Process: You can apply online. Alternatively, you can download a paper application from the website and submit it in person at your local DHS office or send it via mail/email to your county for processing. For more details, you can call to request a mailed paper application or to apply by phone.
