This program investigates allegations of mistreatment and aims to safeguard vulnerable adults by evaluating their needs, coordinating services to mitigate risks, and looking into claims of mistreatment, such as caretaker neglect, exploitation, and harmful actions.

Intake Procedure: To report suspected mistreatment or to obtain further information, please call.

Travel/Location: When reporting to APS, provide as much detail as possible regarding the adult, the circumstances, and the alleged offender. Useful information may include: the at-risk adult's name, address, and phone number; their current location if different from their home; date of birth or estimated age; any medical or disabling conditions; names of medical providers and caregivers; and contact details for known family, friends, or neighbors. Additionally, include the name and contact information of the person responsible for the mistreatment, if known.
