The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally funded initiative aimed at assisting eligible low-income households with a portion of their heating expenses during the winter months.
Application Process: You can apply online or download a paper application from the website to submit it at your local DHS office or send it via mail/email to your county for processing. Additionally, you can call to request a paper application by mail, apply over the phone, or obtain further information.
