The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a federally supported initiative that helps eligible low-income households cover part of their heating expenses during the winter months.
Intake Procedure: Applications can be submitted online. You can also download a paper application from the website and either drop it off at your local DHS office or send it via mail/email to the county for processing. For further assistance, you can call to request a mailed application, apply over the phone, or gather more information.

- To qualify, applicants must be permanent legal residents of the United States and Colorado, or have a household member who meets these criteria.
