These services, such as obtaining a corrected Social Security card, a replacement card, a Social Security statement, or a child's Social Security number, can be accessed for free through Social Security. If you encounter misleading information, report it by sending the entire mailing, including the envelope, to the Office of the Inspector General Fraud Hotline at the Social Security Administration.
