Blind - Talking Book Library Service

The Idaho Commission for Libraries collaborates with the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped to offer loans of books and magazines at no cost to eligible residents of Idaho. Services include the complimentary mailing of reading materials and equipment. To qualify, individuals must be legally blind, unable to see sufficiently or focus long enough to read standard print, unable to handle print books due to a physical disability, or certified by a physician as having a reading disability caused by a severe organic dysfunction that hinders reading in the usual way. Disabilities can be either permanent or temporary. Available languages include English and Spanish.

Intake Procedure: Application
