Boise Girls Academy / Teen Challenge

Boise Girls Academy serves a maximum of 20 adolescent girls, aged 13-17, who exhibit various at-risk behaviors. Our mission is to guide these young women in making healthier choices and fostering self-worth, respect for their families, and consideration for others. We are a licensed therapeutic boarding school in Idaho, affiliated with Pacific Northwest Adult and Teen Challenge centers and accredited by Teen Challenge USA. We aim to act as an 'early intervention' to assist girls before they reach adulthood with regrets over poor decisions. The program lasts 15 months, with enrollment available year-round. Our curriculum is interactive and online, provided by Alpha Omega Academy, which is accredited by AdvancED. Each student follows a tailored curriculum that includes both core subjects and electives, with certified teachers available to support their learning. Ensuring that students continue their education is a top priority. Additionally, we provide counseling services through our licensed on-staff counselor, therapeutic programs, and group therapy sessions. Parents stay engaged through regular communication, letter exchanges, and bi-monthly Parent Weekends. We also include physical activities through a local gym membership, leisure time, and various special events throughout the year. Weekly church attendance off-campus and on-campus chapel services are part of our program. Languages offered: English.
