Casey Family Program

***Not an Adoption Agency*** Offers a variety of services aimed at children and youth, with a primary focus on foster care. Casey facilitates or advocates for permanency options for children and youth, which include adoption, guardianship, kinship care (care by extended family), and family reunification (bringing children back to their birth families). Additionally, Casey is dedicated to assisting youth in foster care to successfully transition into adulthood. As a direct service operating foundation, Casey Family Programs does not provide grants. The organization excels in building lasting relationships with families that can support children and youth in achieving success and well-being. Casey Family Programs not only provides direct services but is also actively involved in various system improvement initiatives alongside The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare and other child welfare organizations. They are committed to collaborating with constituency groups (such as foster parents, former foster youth, and relative caregivers) to establish a robust network of agencies and organizations aimed at enhancing the child welfare system in Idaho. Languages offered include English and Spanish.

Intake Procedure: Referrals are accepted exclusively from DHW for providing foster care and permanency services. The agency also offers transition services for youth and young adults aging out of foster care, as well as Kinship Care services for relatives caring for related children.
