Keep in mind that Bishops have full-time jobs and may not be available at their offices all the time; the best times to call are Tuesday and Wednesday evenings after 7 PM, and Sundays after 8 AM. Additionally, Deseret Industries operates thrift shops that offer affordable used furniture, clothing, and electronics, along with job training programs available through a referral from an LDS Bishop.
