The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program offers services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, guardianships, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it provides therapy for children from birth to 3 years, covering developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, while also sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to help families nurture their infants and toddlers (up to 36 months) in achieving their developmental milestones. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in facilitating children's communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and overall participation in family life. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program extends its services to adults with developmental disabilities, offering court-ordered guardianship, commitment evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, and services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
