The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy services are available for children from birth to 3 years, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, along with information on private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention to aid families in helping their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in fostering children's abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers various services for individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
