The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a range of services tailored to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy services are available for children from birth to 3 years, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, along with information on private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in supporting children in communication, mobility, cognition, nutrition, and active participation in family routines. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to adults with developmental disabilities, offering services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
