The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy is available for children from birth to 3 years, including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies, along with information on private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on early intervention services to aid families in supporting their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) in achieving their full potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists specializing in helping children enhance their communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and participation in family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program offers services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
