Developmental Disabilities Program, Facs - Dhw Admin

The Family and Community Services Developmental Disabilities program is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing community services aimed at supporting children with developmental disabilities through various regional programs. For those children who are eligible for Medicaid, the program provides Children's Service Coordination and Intensive Behavioral Intervention, with direct services offered by private agencies funded by Medicaid. Furthermore, the program manages the Developmental Disabilities Family Support program and the Court Related Service program, catering to both children and adults with developmental disabilities. Crisis Prevention Teams are available to offer consultation services to individuals living in community settings, assisting with behavioral challenges or other issues that could threaten their community placements. Services are provided in English, with interpreters available as needed.
