The Bureau of Facility Standards is committed to protecting Idaho residents who require health-related services, support, and supervision in care facilities by: *Advocating for individual rights, well-being, safety, dignity, and optimal functional independence; *Ensuring adherence to state regulations and federal laws; and *Offering information and educational resources. We license and certify healthcare providers and suppliers in accordance with applicable state and federal guidelines. Additionally, we investigate complaints concerning these providers and suppliers. Our website features a list of providers and suppliers, including Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Home Health Agencies, Hospices, Hospitals, Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/ID), Long Term Care Facilities, and Rural Health Clinics, organized alphabetically or by region. The Certified Nursing Assistant Registry is part of our bureau. The Home Health Hotline was created to address complaints or inquiries about local Home Health Agencies. The Bureau operates under the Division of Licensing and Certification.
