Family Advocates is dedicated to enhancing family dynamics and safeguarding children by enabling ordinary individuals to enrich and protect youth lives. * Family Strengthening Program: This initiative involves both children and parents in developing the Five Protective Factors to foster robust and healthy family units. Participants will gain insights into emotional communication, child development, establishing a supportive social network, enhancing parental resilience, and recognizing essential support during challenging times. This program is available to all parents, and self-referrals are welcome. For more details, reach out to enroll@familyadvocates.org if you reside in Ada County, Canyon County, or Elmore County. * Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program: We seek, train, and assist volunteer child advocates, known as Guardians ad Litem, along with pro-bono attorneys to represent them in the Fourth Judicial District (Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties). These specially trained volunteers serve as the judge's eyes and ears regarding a child's circumstances, enabling informed decisions that prioritize the child's welfare.
