The Education and Training Voucher (ETV) Program in Idaho supports youth and young adults in achieving self-sufficiency by offering financial assistance for education, training, and services that are not funded by other sources. Eligible individuals include those who are independent-living-eligible youth and adults who have aged out of foster care or attained permanency (through reunification, adoption, or legal guardianship) after turning 16. The funding can be utilized for attending colleges, universities, vocational education programs, and other higher education institutions. ETV covers expenses such as tuition and fees, housing, room and board, books and supplies, personal items, child care, transportation, and necessary equipment, with a limit of $5,000 per year or the total cost of attendance minus any other available funding.
