A Long Term Care Facility is designed to cater to the health requirements of two or more elderly or disabled individuals who need inpatient care and services for a minimum of 24 consecutive hours. This type of care is crucial for those with unstable or chronic health conditions that necessitate daily professional nursing oversight and licensed nursing services, restorative and rehabilitative care, as well as assistance with daily living activities. Regular medical supervision is also needed, although not on a daily basis. Payment sources include: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) - accepting Medicare and private payments, Nursing Facility (NF) - accepting Medicaid and private payments, and a combination of both (SNF/NF) - accepting Medicare, Medicaid, and private payments.
