Madd - Mothers Against Drunk Driving

MADD is seeking locations for its Victim Panel, which primarily aims to assist victims of alcohol-related accidents and their families. Support includes guidance through court processes, trauma recovery, and access to community resources after a crash. Additionally, MADD offers speakers who discuss the dangers of drunk driving and its life-altering consequences. A Victim Impact Panel is held for offenders on the first Wednesday of each month as part of a court-mandated program. Informational brochures cover topics like helping children deal with loss, understanding victim trauma and injuries, navigating the criminal justice system, and the risks associated with drunk driving. The organization also runs the "Red Ribbon" campaign to promote awareness against drinking and driving, encouraging people to display red ribbons on their car antennas as a reminder.
