The Public Information Office is dedicated to fostering and executing collaborative initiatives both internally and externally within the Department. Responsibilities include designing and facilitating meetings for staff and the public, overseeing public engagement processes and managing feedback, offering educational programs and classes for the Director's leadership team, mediating disputes when necessary, conducting outreach to minority communities, managing interactions with the media, and strategizing for departmental planning.
