St. Alphonsus Comprehensive Breast Care Center

This extensive breast care initiative encompasses education, screening, diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, mammotome biopsy, and a multidisciplinary medical panel review. It also features mobile mammography services across southwest Idaho, providing both mammography and bone density screenings conveniently near your home or workplace. Funded by the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Grant, the program facilitates early breast cancer detection through screening procedures, with age and income eligibility requirements. The WOMEN'S HEALTH CHECK program, a federally funded initiative, provides complimentary breast and cervical cancer screenings to qualifying women. Eligible participants include those without insurance covering mammograms or pap tests, who meet income criteria, and fall into specific age categories: ages 50-64, ages 30-49 without a pap test in the last 5 years, under 50 with breast cancer symptoms (with clinician approval), or those over 65 not eligible for Medicare or lacking Medicare Part B.
