The Women of Color Alliance (WOCA) celebrates cultural diversity by fostering mutual support, leadership growth, and empowerment. Our mission is to advocate for a just social, political, and economic framework that enhances the lives of all Women of Color. The vision for WOCA originated from discussions among Latina, Native American, African American, and Asian women in 1998, initially aimed at finding ways to support one another in a conservative environment. In Idaho, public policymakers often overlook the significance of people of color, especially women of color. Partnering with WOCA signifies your commitment to advancing the cause for women like you. You will connect with remarkable individuals who are already engaged and eager to assist others who share similar backgrounds. Everyone is welcome to visit our office to share experiences, receive support, volunteer, or engage in any way to contribute to the community. We communicate in English, Spanish, and various Native languages within Idaho's borders.
