Local counseling services focus on Medicare insurance plans - A, B, C, D, and supplemental (Medigap) coverage. They provide benefits screening and help with applications for Extra Help and Medicare Savings programs (QMB, SLMB, etc.). The service includes information, free publications, and support with Medicare billing issues and complaints regarding Medicare, Medicare Advantage plans, and Long Term Care insurance. Clients receive one-on-one counseling, and the service is offered free of charge across the 10 northern counties of Idaho.
