South Idaho Correctional Institution (Sici)

SICI accommodates 656 male offenders classified as minimum-custody in a communal living environment. Many of these offenders are given job assignments, working either within the facility or in external locations. Vocational Work Projects include road crews for the Idaho Transportation Department and conservation and firefighting teams for the U.S. Forest Service. Additionally, some offenders participate in the Correctional Industries program, and SICI manages the pre-release program for most offenders preparing for parole from the system.
