- Individuals with vehicle complaints that meet the criteria of Washington's lemon law: Must be a new motor vehicle designed for transporting people or goods on public highways, originally purchased or leased from a dealer in Washington, and initially registered in Washington, or for which a temporary license was issued to a nonresident U.S. armed forces member applying for out-of-state registration. Check the website for a list of participating manufacturers.
