The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho by offering a variety of services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Among the offerings are: 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Home Economics, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden/Landscape Management Programs, Family Resource Management, Crops/Horticulture Programs, First Aid/Safety Programs focused on small business operation, Money Management/Household Budgeting, Life Skills, Teen Tutoring, Water Quality Testing, Pesticide Applicator Training, Food Preservation, Livestock Programs, and Range Management. The services are available in English.
