The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) aims to ensure families remain safe and healthy by providing assistance with energy expenses. This private, non-profit organization caters to economically and socially disadvantaged individuals by addressing their unique needs, promoting self-sufficiency, and facilitating individual, social, and educational growth. Available services may encompass food commodities, emergency food aid, energy assistance, limited financial support based on funding, family development initiatives, specialized housing programs, and telephone support.
