This initiative leads and advocates for the needs of older Idahoans while overseeing federally and state-funded programs that assist them in maintaining their independence, safety, and dignity. **PROGRAMS AND SERVICES:** **Adult Protection** - Legal assistance and investigations. **Family Caregiver Support Program** - Offers information, respite, support, and additional services. **In-Home Services** - Includes case management, homemaker services, home-delivered meals, and caregiver respite. **Medicare Education** - Provides guidance on understanding Medicare and resolving billing issues. **Nutrition Services** - Features a directory of senior centers, home-delivered meals, group meals, and educational counseling. **Ombudsmen** - Serve as advocates for seniors in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. **Support Services** - Information and assistance, outreach, transportation, and adult day care. **KinCare Coalition** - Aids grandparents and other relatives who temporarily or permanently care for children due to parental absence or neglect. **Assistive Technology** - Storage for the Equipment Reutilization Program. The Idaho Commission on Aging supervises the Area Agency on Aging offices. Languages available: English and Spanish.
