Bannock County provides essential government services such as marriage licenses and welfare assistance through the Indigent/Welfare office at 208-236-7347 or via email at indigent@co.bannock.id.us. The Domestic Violence Court can be reached at (208) 236-7421, located in Suite F and operating from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. The Board of Guardians serves as a last resort for those needing guardianship in Bannock County. Additionally, the Circuit Breaker program offers property tax reductions primarily for elderly and disabled residents. The Bannock County Indigent Fund assists with medical, burial, and travel expenses for individuals stranded in the county. Services are provided in English.
