The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates and processes reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When needed, it offers services to address family issues. This Program reviews and determines cases of reported child abuse, which may involve assessments of family members and/or the affected child. It also facilitates counseling for victims, parents, perpetrators, and others involved. Child protective services are provided at no cost. Additionally, the Program is responsible for licensing foster homes and offering certain adoption services, and it is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English.
