The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides essential services tailored for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluations, diagnoses, referrals, information dissemination, guardianship, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support, along with sharing information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program, which serves children from birth to three years with developmental delays, offers various therapeutic, educational, and supportive services at no cost to families, and aids in transitioning to school services when the child turns three. Additionally, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program delivers support to adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. This program is overseen by the Division of Family and Community Services, and services are available in English with interpreters accessible upon request.
