The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides tailored services for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, family support, and information about private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program aids children from birth to three years old who exhibit developmental delays, offering a range of therapeutic, educational, and support services at no cost to families. This program also facilitates the transition to school services when the child turns three. Additionally, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program delivers various services for adults with developmental disabilities, including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination with the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The program is managed by the Division of Family and Community Services, and services are available in English with interpreters as needed. Intake Procedure: Call for an evaluation.
