The Idaho Area Health Education Center (AHEC) is part of a national initiative designed to enhance the distribution, diversity, and availability of the primary healthcare workforce, particularly focusing on the needs of rural and underserved regions. Idaho AHEC collaborates with primary care providers, state agencies, educational institutions, and other vital stakeholders to promote and support initiatives that will strengthen the healthcare workforce and improve health outcomes for communities in Idaho.
