The Industrial Commission oversees the regulation of workers' compensation in Idaho, which includes companies authorized to provide workers' compensation policies. It resolves conflicts between injured employees and insurers, adjudicates appeals regarding unemployment decisions from the Idaho Department of Labor, and ensures compliance with legal requirements for employer workers' compensation coverage. Additionally, it offers free rehabilitation services to workers injured on the job and administers compensation for victims of crime through the Crime Victims Compensation Program. Services are available in English and Spanish.
Intake Procedure: Referrals can be initiated by employers, attorneys, workers' compensation insurers, or individuals may self-refer.
