This initiative provides essential educational services for individuals aged 16 and up who are no longer in a K-12 program, including preparation and testing for the GED, literacy programs, and ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction. While there are fees associated with GED testing and some other services, the majority are offered free of charge. Individual tutoring may be available, although it is not guaranteed. The Idaho Department of Education oversees the Adult Basic Education Program. Services are provided in English.
