The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting the agricultural and rural sectors of Idaho through various services, programs, and research that contribute significantly to the state's growth. Among the offerings are: 4-H programs, weed control initiatives, family and consumer sciences, the Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), garden and landscape management, youth at risk programs, crops and horticulture, money management and household budgeting, life skills development, water quality testing, pesticide applicator training, and food preservation. Services are available in English.
