The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in supporting Idaho's agricultural and rural sectors by offering various services, programs, and research that contribute to the state's growth. Key offerings include 4-H Youth Development, Natural Resources (covering soil, water, and forestry), Agriculture (both small acreage and conventional), Community Development, Family and Consumer Sciences (such as food preservation), Home Horticulture/gardening, and EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Programs). Services are available in English.
