The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a variety of services aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referrals, information dissemination, guardianships and commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, the program offers therapies including developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, and shares information on private developmental disability service providers. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to aid families in helping their infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months) achieve their fullest potential. These early intervention services address both the developmental needs of the child and the family's needs to foster the child's growth. The program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in assisting children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, eating, and engaging in daily family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities by providing services such as court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible upon request.
