The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a comprehensive range of services tailored to support individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information dissemination, guardianship and commitment assistance, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, therapy options such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapies are available, along with information on private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to aid families in nurturing their infants and toddlers (from birth to 36 months) to achieve their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in fostering children's abilities to communicate, move, think, eat, and engage in family activities. Furthermore, the Family and Community Services Adult DD program extends support to individuals with developmental disabilities, offering services like court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination for the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services oversees the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, which is accessible in English, with interpreters available upon request. For intake, individuals are encouraged to call for an evaluation.
