The Regional Developmental Disabilities Program provides a variety of services tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. These services encompass evaluation, diagnosis, referral, information, guardianships, commitments, service coordination, respite care, and family support. Additionally, it offers therapeutic services such as developmental, speech, psychological, physical, and occupational therapy, while also sharing information about private providers of developmental disability services. The Idaho Infant Toddler Program focuses on delivering early intervention services to assist families in supporting their infants and toddlers (ages birth to 36 months) in achieving their fullest potential. This program is structured around multidisciplinary teams of therapists skilled in helping children with communication, mobility, cognitive skills, nutrition, and engagement in daily family activities. The Family and Community Services Adult DD program caters to individuals with developmental disabilities, providing services including court-ordered guardianship, commitment and competency evaluations, placement coordination to the Idaho State School and Hospital, non-Medicaid crisis intervention, service coordination, and community resource development. The Division of Family and Community Services administers the Regional Developmental Disabilities Program, and services are available in English with interpreters accessible upon request.
