LIFE advocates for and implements the independent living philosophy by promoting consumer control over decision-making, service delivery, management, and policy formulation. It encourages self-help and self-advocacy, fosters peer relationships and role models, and ensures equal access for individuals with disabilities to societal services, programs, activities, resources, and facilities. LIFE, INC. provides support across 19 southeastern counties, offering various resources to help individuals with disabilities enhance or sustain their independence at home, with family, and within their communities. Services are available in both English and Spanish.
