LIFE supports and implements the philosophy of independent living, which includes consumer control over decision-making, service delivery, management, and policy formulation. It encourages self-help and self-advocacy, fosters peer relationships and role models, and ensures equal access for individuals with disabilities to societal services, programs, activities, resources, and facilities. LIFE, INC. provides services across 19 southeastern counties, offering various resources to help people with disabilities enhance or sustain their independence at home, with family, and in their communities.
