The Cooperative Extension System at the University of Idaho plays a vital role in assisting agricultural and rural communities throughout Idaho by offering various services, programs, and research that contribute significantly to the state's growth. The range of programs includes 4-H, Weed Control Programs, Community Development, EFNEP (Expanded Food & Nutrition Education Program), Garden and Landscape Management, Youth at Risk initiatives, Crops and Horticulture Programs, Life Skills training, Pesticide Applicator Certification, Food Preservation, the Bonner County Teleconferencing Center, customer service training for business retention, and education on Economic Justice. Services are available in English.
