3b Juvenile Detention Center

3-B delivers juvenile detention services to the neighboring counties of Bonneville, Bingham, and Butte in Southeast Idaho. Additionally, 3-B partners with other counties to ensure secure housing for juveniles mandated to detention. The organization employs clinical staff who conduct assessments for mental health and substance abuse issues. Clinicians perform screenings using the Massachusetts Youth Screening Instrument-Second Version (MAYSI-2) and provide valuable information to juvenile probation officers while collaborating with parents or legal guardians to connect them with community services. 3-B works in conjunction with Juvenile Probation Officers, Judges, and community stakeholders to assist juvenile offenders in developing skills, safeguarding victims of juvenile crimes, and ensuring public safety.
