The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment. When required, it offers suitable services to address family issues. This program assesses and determines incidents of reported child abuse, which may involve evaluating family members and/or the affected child. It facilitates counseling for victims, parents, abusers, and others involved, with no fees for child protective services. Additionally, the program licenses foster homes and offers certain adoption services, managed by the Division of Family and Community Services. Services are available in English, with interpreters accessible as needed.
