The Regional Children and Family Services Program evaluates reports concerning child abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and offers necessary services to address family requirements. This program investigates reported cases of child abuse, which may involve assessing family members and the affected child. It facilitates counseling for victims, parents, perpetrators, and others involved, and there is no charge for child protective services. Additionally, the program is responsible for licensing foster homes and offering some adoption services, managed by the Division of Family and Community Services.
